It seems a bit weird posting in here seeing as I was an affiliate for around six years, but I've been out of the game for the last 24 months and, to be honest, have missed it so am thinking of coming back.

With that in mind, I wanted to get up to speed on the best Playtech casinos to promote, as I'm sure things have changed since I've been away. I'm going through AGD's preferred choices, but nothing better than hearing about current affiliate experiences, so do please let me know who your preferred partners are.

Happy for affiliate mangers to get in touch on the following grounds
  • Slot games can be embedded in site
  • Third party data variables can be passed and returned in reports
Thanks - look forward to hearing...

My honest opinion is that there aren't really ANY Playtechs which are worth promoting, except possibly Onmi (Focal Click).
75% of the rest are either dodgy or rogue, and the other 23% just don't convert.
That has been my experience anyway. I only keep Playtechs on my site because they are still seen as one of the "major" providers.
For the last 5+ years they have contributed only around 2% of my total income.
Personally I like the software and think they have many great games - but other players don't seem to agree... :confused:

Thanks for the honest answer KK - appreciate it.

Have you always found Playtech casinos performing badly or is it something that has declined over the last few years? I did ok with them previously, largely through FocalClick so it's good to hear that they're still doing well.

Firstly, I would recommend to stay away from those that are located in Israel.

Me too, I had a good history with "cPays" (now called AFFUTD) and with "Casino Partners" (now EuroPartners) ... but now it is not like it was in the past.

Hi Kadabra,

Please send me a private message detailing your affiliate ID so I can look into your account with Focal Click.

Netbet Casino recently added a complete Playtech section. I think their affiliate program Live Partners is great and the casino is also very good. Maybe worth checking out.

I totally agree with KasinoKing. Most of the Playtech affiliate programs out there don't convert or are dodgy. Omni Casino is probably the best one out there that is worth promoting.

It's always been that way.
You can disregard 2006 as that was my start-up year, so it was 20% of not-very-much!
And most of the income 2010 - 2013 was actually from Sports Betting at Bet365 and from sub-affiliates, which is why I said overall only about 2% is made from casino players I referred myself...

Adding BetFred, Tote Sport, Paddy Power, Boyles, Gala and Ladbrokes all together for the last THREE years - my total income is less than $1,000 :confused:

So who do you promote now Kasino?

To be honest - I should not promote any of them. For Example: I removed AFFUTD - Taking into consideration the fact that they retroactively applied "Dormant Account Policy" with reducing of RevShare; I left Europartners - because they have not applied "Dormant Account Policy" - but the statistics are poor with negative income for 1+ year; with FocalCLick - I registered 1 year ago, based on recommendations of brothers in misfortune from AGD :) hoping for a better conversion, but the result has not changed (conversion was even worse than EP and a little better than UTD)

If you need to add some Playtech casinos to your site, then go with OMNI or Fly Casino.
They are both part of Focal Click. I wouldn't put a lot of focus on Playtech casinos tho.

Is it even worth it to list Playtech at all then? Not much for insurance if you do an entire section on them and the only good group goes under...

I'm guessing not. I like their games as well, but when compared to NetEnt's game list + casinos available to promote.. Makes me think from a affiliate prospective Playtech isn't relevant any longer.. Thinking out loud and considering adding a playtech section for the sole fact that Focal Click is one of the few non-us programs I have actually had good earnings with in the past..

If anyone has a crystal ball.. Feel free to send a PM ;)

There are so many rogue Playtech casinos it is hard to get a decent sized playtech page going. Add to that the affiliates are mostly terrible.
iAffiliates have heen ok for us, AffUtd are clearly a bunch of theives. Focal Click aren't converting.

Playtech themselves appear to not give two hoots about their casinos, focussing only on buying up Forex companies.

We have written a couple of articles/letters directed at Playtech and have seen that they have visited our site to check them out but obviously we have not had a response from them.

I can see Playtech being completely dead in a year or two as far as casinos are concerned.

Old thread but, has anyone tried Club777 (iAffiliates)? Converts?
I would not touch iAffiliates with someone else's 50 foot barge pole!
You may never know if they convert well or not, as they'll likely shave most of your players anyway. :mad:

My opinion is still the same as earlier in this thread: Playtech is a great software, but most of the operators are either rogues or Sports Betting companies who don't give a toss about casino affiliates, and players simply do not want to play at Playtechs.
That's been my experience for the last 10 years anyway...

@Kadabra
Club777 hasn't performed, the only IAffilaites casinos generating traffic for me are Casino dot com and Slots Heaven.

@KK
IAffilaites are the only Playtech that have converted for me but very much hit and miss. Not sure about skimming, the stats are up there with the best. However my only concern is once you have landed a player, do they try and hijack them to another of their brands with their spam? Again I am not so sure, stats are not showing this either.

@All
Playtech have their issues, mobile platform is beyond pathetic. And they are losing their Marvel flagship this summer. There is a lot riding on the DC Comics tie up as well as their upcoming Gods series. But for me it is the mobile issue that they need to address quick as they are not going to have any mobile players if they don't.
