Seems to me though the author is probably going to be the one responsible for making the authorities think to put bars on the sewers

Hi all,

That's not living it's merely existing.
No one should ever be in a position where they have no other option.

It's not much better out here. It's estimated up to 110,000 Australians are homeless each night. Don't know of too many people living in the sewers but that's a moot point because homeless is homeless, hey!

In today's economic climate things can go bust overnight. Add in life's saying "shit happens", combined with people who may not have family support and if things go haywire it's a recipe for disaster.

The story focused on drug addition and addiction in general being the reason most of these people are living in the Vegas sewers. However people don't wake up one day and decide to stick a needle in their arm!

Obviously safety nets aren't in place or accessible, when they should be.

JMO but any President or Prime Minister of a Country that allows this to happen when they themselves are living fat, ought to hang their head in shame!
