I stopped actively promoting Ladbrokes a year ago for retroactively imposing NCO on my account from Jan 2014 onward, since when I have been permanently in the red...

So I am only checking my stats every 6 months to see if anything's changed... and it has!
I finally went back into the black in March! :)
Only a very small amount - and very small +ve amounts every month since - not enough to trigger a payment, which is why I didn't even know I had crossed this momentous threshold.

Of course, I'm not going to start promoting them again unless they come up with a PROPER casino affiliate deal - like the Ladbrokes guy I met in Amsterdam promised... followed by total silence since
(No surprise there)

Maybe not a compete "hallelujah" moment - but coming out of 2 years and 2 months in NCO has to be worth a small celebration... ;)

Always nice to finally make if out of the red - that deserves a beer!

yeah, remember Dave and Bob getting out of bet365 negative, always good to hear. I nearly chucked bet365 when I first started and ended up in a massive hole (at the time) of about £4k, glad I carried on.

enjoy now KK, look at it as free money, although would be good if they honoured your deal

Yes, Ladbrokes didn't QUITE equal my record of 2 years 7 months in the red at Bet365...
I was glad I stuck with them in the end, because now I am doing quite well with them ;)

But that is a completely different case - I knew from when I signed-up that Bet365 had NCO.
With Ladbrokes I promoted them heavily and faithfully for EIGHT YEARS until they decided to throw this retroactive NCO at me...

Forgive me for sounding a bit daft but what is a NCO with Ladbrokes?

I'm starting to earn good money with them but would like to be one step ahead.

NCO means Negative Carryover, so if say in March your monthly earnings are minus £xxxx then you start off the month on the minus figure and have to "earn" it back before making any profit. no negative carryover means they start you from zero at the beginning of each month so you dont have to claw anything back

i must admit i can see the operators side of things with NCO although it is pretty crap for affiliates. with Betway I'd give them another chance personally, they convert and retain very well for me. maybe reach out to a manager there and see if you can work out a deal, I dont have NCO with them or ladbrokes

Here are my issues with Betway partners....

1) My manager is terrible, refuses to give me a phone number other than his own.

2) NCO

3) Threshold of £600 or €

4) my manager has already slipped up and told me that the 30% Rev share will be changing from lifetime to "unknown"

5) They don't even have an address.

I'm referring 300 FTD's a month across 5/6 firms and I can't afford to take the risk with these people, I don't trust them and they were associate with a rogue casino up until a couple of years ago I believe.

They have paid me well in the past but there is no trust

fair enough, it is entirely your choice, of course. On the address front i've been to their offices in Camden for a meeting when I wasn't happy myself with them
Please tell me more mate

I think lesson hear is don't believe anything, any program rep tells you. Get everything in writing. That's not to say you wont get shafted... But least with a deal in writing, signed off and dated, you've @ least got something to come back at them with.

However tbh these days, I don't even think having an iron clad agreement is enough. Take BP. I had a 40% comm for life with RB & no HR policy. Not only did BP swipe 15% but also enacted the HRP.

You spend literally years promoting them and thn they stab you in the back... So I feel your pain and frustration!

Pfff..I've noticed that such large companies like the Ladbrokes etc do not care much about their affiliates, they work just with the largest (and it is not always) and they're not caring at all about the small sources, one of my friends told me that he had waited for half a year to receive payments from William Hill and the managers even can not clarify controversial issues on the contract(.. The same is with many other including Ladbrokes. By the way, wanted to ask about the websites you have. Are you an owner?
