First Hello to everyone as this is my first post here.
I have started my own website where i put my football tips, casino strategies, poker, blackjack news etc..,

My question is..is it too late to this...
I mean every serious football gambler would already have an account in some of the major gambling sites..
Same goes for poker, casino and etc.

Just wondering guys if it is no longer that viable as before.
Can you make real bucks from Gambling Affilate programs =)?

Thanks for your time =)

There is always someone unhappy with their current account, and always a new or different bookie to promote.. You can make real bucks from aff programs if you are willing to work real hours.. real long hours..

You know the expression "There's one born every minute"? :p
Every gambler has to start at some point in their life - there will always be new punters out there to attract.
Even existing ones can be attracted by a tempting offer from a new operator.
It is BLOODY hard work, but then what job isn't? You don't get anything for nothing.

Definitely keep at it. I tell every newbie this, but it took me 6 months to get my first player. I essentially kinda gave up. I stopped checking for new players after about 4-5 months. Then, one day I decided to check and saw that I got a good player (not a high roller, but darn close). That was all the motivation I needed. If you stick with it, you will make money. If you innovate, then you will make a lot more.

Yes, signatures are allowed once there are a significant number of quality posts. I try to keep the spam to a minimum.

Thanks to everyone, for all the answers you're giving me it's really helpful for me and grants me extra motivation.

I'm trying to write new articles as much as i can in order to grab attention.

Sadly at this moment I think that I'm writing content only for myself and that's the only bad part.

Do you have any tips for a newbie how to increase the traffic to his website!

Thanks a lot to the staff for creating this whole forum with amazing community.
And thanks to everyone who have replied to my answers, you are the best!

Just to reinforce the above, I started doing this about 5 years ago after the "online poker craze". After a month or two went by and I didn't have any new signups to speak of really, I wondered the same thing. Now 5 years later, I am doing this full time and making a decent living doing so. In addition, current affiliates are receiving new players everyday or else they would not be doing this either. There are plenty of opportunities out there to still make money being an affiliate. One area where I am just starting to venture in is Fantasy Sports. I think there is still a huge opportunity in Fantasy Sports and I think we will see that part of this industry grow tremendously in the next 2 or 3 years and the potential to make money is huge!

Keep working at it - it is not to late!

I start over all the time lol.. Just setup a new site last night.. While I have more knowledge then your average joe.. Its nothing that can't be learned by a few days (or weeks depending on your level) of reading.. My main benefit is my schedule.. Since I do this full time, I don't have one of those pesky side-jobs to get in my way... I do have a pretty demanding girlfriend however if that counts.. lol

Point: Time and effort = reward. While you may start out extremely slow.. Treat this like an actual job and you'll see yourself getting pay raises 10x what you would expect working for anyone else.

Hm.. I think in the nearest future you can ask the same question, but also you'll regret about that you missed the ability to create i earlier) So now is the time you should do it.. Earlier, people thought that all domain names included 3 symbols were sold and it was something like the end of the world.. But smart webmasters bought 4-letters domains and now it`s also a rarity))

  • Is it hard? Yes.
  • Is it frustrating at times? Yes
  • Will you work long hours with little to no reward (to begin with) to succeed? Yes.
  • Will you want to throw in the towel multiple times either on your own thinking or others? Probably.
  • Will you get shafted by an affiliate program or two? Highly likely.
The competition never ceases and when you finally get decent serps, you then have to fight to keep them there. You also have to worry every day about who is stealing your content (how to protect it) and who maybe trying to pull neg SEO on your ass.

Reiterating is not the simple cash cow it used to be.

However if you have the fortitude, passion and tenacity to stick to it & not give up (no matter what), you will succeed ;)

It can all be said like this...

If your prepared to work harder and make sacrifices, do what most people wouldn't do to achieve your goals, then the rewards/success will follow. You'll likely enjoy a life where you're your own boss and the trappings which come with that.

This question is much like asking if it is still worth it to start working out when your 50.. Depends on your goals and how much effort your still willing to put in..

IMO I think online casinos will be around for a while :) Your goal should be to be among the best of the best... and you can only do that if your doing something you really love! So really only you can answer the question "is it still worth it"..

Of course there are still new players out there, however, it's getting harder and harder to compete as an affiliate. Unless you have a huge budget it will take quite a while for new affiliate to start seeing earnings.

It's been documented through tests, that it takes an average of 10,000 hours to become proficient/expert in anything. When I started out as an affiliate (2000), I'd had 4 previous years as a web developer. Even with skills this gig has a huge learning curve. I think that's the killer for noobs.

Granted WP sites make the transition easier but you still have to master for example SEO. And, in this vertical, SEO is influenced by many factors. Principles/Penalties which don't seem to affect 'mainstream' sites.

When I started it was a cash-cow, affiliates were making money hand-over-fist. Yet it took me about 10 or so months before I snagged the 1'st NDP. There were so many factors that I simply didn't know. EG - Just because Affiliate-X is making $'s with Program-A, doesn't mean your site will.

A/B testing is paramount and so is a sprinkling of luck too. I've had domains/sites which I've worked hard, but regardless what I do, they don't make the grade. Or worse, they do then some Ass-wipe decided to launch a negative SEO campaign against you and your site falls down the serps.

This is the learning curve I spoke about. If you don't know how to combat it or even know what to look for, then your going to have a rough time. It is hard these days but if you can stick it out and are prepared to learn, learn, learn, and also think outside the square, then you probably will succeed :)

Isn't there an astrology forum somewhere you can join to post your pointless crap on?
