I agree that GW should make it clear to new US Affiliates that they have no payment option to pay them. but, for existing Affiliates that were being paid and then GW was having issues paying US affiliates, its GW obligation to find another way to continue to pay existing US Affiliates. IMO

The problem here is that I KNOW they have contacted you and told you what the solution is. This is the case with everyone. I'm not sure what people expect here... for them to 'make up' a payment solution? For them to use a solution run by thieves whereby, in a few weeks, months, years - the thieves will simply close up shop and keep all the money?

The issue is legality. They cannot get money to US people unless those US people have an account setup outside the US. They have talked to their US affiliates (including those who posted in this thread) and have mentioned the situation. The [very few] who have not created a payment method that could be used can't get paid (shock of all shocks)... the MAJORITY of their US affiliates have that method and are being paid.
I'm honestly a bit shocked that everyons expects them to just get around the legal system and 'figure it out'. That has NOT worked for quite a few companies and is not smart if you are looking to eventually run regulated in the US or elsewhere.

Anyway... I'm sure I'll get blasted on this one, but I believe what I am saying here. Rhonda - I will follow up to determine what you are owed and get you paid. Bonustreak is helping Joe. Anyone else? We are here to help!!! :)

Bonustreak and I worked out a solution so I'm all set but I'm just curious, what precisely is the legality?

It's not help about getting paid for myself, It's warning for new USA affiliates what they in for when they want to get paid.

What affiliate wants to involve their earning to be sent to another affiliate in order to collect?

Is this just a GoWild issue, though? Will any Microgaming program send a wire to a US bank account?

I will say it again... GoWild contacts each new affiliate. It's not a program you sign up for and just promote, the qualify their affiliates. If you are in the US - they make sure you have a proper payment method. That is fair and just, IMO.

I do not know for sure, but I know GoWild no longer sends US wires because it wasn't reliable (wires were being sent back). They did for a long time, but when the wires started getting sent back - they had no choice but to stop that method of payment.

It's a banking thing. They are not letting the wires go through as they do not think them legal since they are part of this industry. Pretty typical.

I don't think wire is the issue, GoWild can't pay to US affiliates at all, right? Other microgaming programs pay their affiliates (check is fine). Lots of programs send me checks from overseas. (reputable companies); many do send wire, some even paypal. The fact is the program doesn't go to the lengths they could to pay U.S. affiliates, so I also think it would be cool for a warning to be put up here, doesn't have to be written with ill intent, but I agree with Joe here that people should be warned before hand anyway.... plus nobody ever figured out payment method with us when we signed up, although its good to hear they do that now.

anyway... :) just my 2 cents..

You know, if you make some decent money it may be worth your while to open a foreign bank account somewhere. I'd just do my home work before hand.

One of the first questions I always ask when signing up with a non-us friendly affiliate program. Can you pay into a US bank account, via wire or check?

A little different story when they change in the middle of working with them.. But IMO its just one of the headaches that come from working within the US..

The solution for USA affiliates is to open an ecopayz account, and ask the casino affiliates to send the money via WIRE TRANSFER to their ecopayz account details (Unlike Skrill and Neteller, There is an option to send wires in order to load up your ecopayz account)

Ecopayz restricts transfers that are gambling related for USA accounts (like Neteller and Skrill), However, this is not like a regular transfer via one ecopayz account to another, this is a wire transfer, so it will work.

Contact me by PM for help.. we love the US!

I book marked the page.. Ill look more into it later but this could really be useful! I have a little money here and there trapped in a few accounts that don't send wires to the US (or at least last I checked!)
