Hi All,

As each new week unfolds I'm reading accounts of more players and affiliates being screwed by casinos and their affiliate programs. Predatory and retroactive terms/condition changes seems to be the norm these days and not the exception.

I've always embraced the philosophy that without players there is no gaming industry. In taking this stand, I've always been very vocal about protecting the interests of legitimate players.

With the latest string of "FU Clauses" used in attempts to shaft legit players, in addition to the ongoing Rival/white labels payment issues, I happened to be doing some google research. I discovered many other casinos (shockingly from respected casinos and eCOGRA sealed too) are using what I can only describe as unacceptable terms & conditions relating to bonuses.

I have to serious question WTF is going on when casinos commence using statements similar to this:

"Casino management reserves the right to determine whether play has been deemed to be promotion abuse even though there may have been compliance with the above terms and conditions. In addition non compliance with the above terms and conditions shall be deemed to be promotion abuse. As such in both of these cases, Casino management has the right at its sole discretion to take the following action against such abusers".

I have no issue (and I'm sure others don't either) about casinos protecting themselves from bonus abuse as a result of not following bonus play T&C's & or fraudulent players.

However what I have is a HUGE issue with what I've highlighted in "the above bold statements".

As a side note, the compliance terms (in blue) look very similar to those that Slots of Fortune tried to add recently:

Roguish Slotsoffortune (Rival Casino) steals my money - Casinomeister's Online Casino and Poker Forum

Reiterating it's one thing protecting a casino from fraud and bonus abuse, it's a completely different matter - a very unethical and dodgy matter indeed, to not clearly define what is and what is not deemed abuse.

To use clauses that allow the casino management to effectively pull any old reason out of a hat to use anything against players to void payment of winnings verges on rogue mentality IMHO.

As affiliates I believe we need to start seriously addressing these issues.
Casinos using these blatant predatory T&C's need to be red flagged!

Cheers

:)

Maybe we can work together since CasinoGuardDog.com has been in the works for some time. Crazy-tons of code has been developed over the last 9 months time. Massive stuff.

*Edit* The stuff on there now is just for testing purposes ;)

Thought I should add the casino in which the above bonus t&c's were extracted:

xxxhttp://www.vegaspartnerlounge.com/generic/generic-promoterms.asp

I've not checked all eleven (11) casino properties but as the above URL is their Group site, they probably all use it.

Cheers
