Hi, we recently launched an Australian affiliate site. I was wondering if anyone has promoted EMU casino and had anything good to say about them? Any feedback would be great.

They are good, basically a skin of VideoSlots, only run by Australians. No problems getting paid as a player or affiliate.

I have only 2 gripes:
- You have to request your commission payment every month as they pay it into a player account.
- The monthly cashback program they pay to players based on their wagering sucks for affiliates as it is subtracted from your net revenue every time. Do a bit of searching here and you can find a thread where we talked about the problems with it at VideoSlots.

Is this a true "cash-back" or is it shackled to a play through?
If a player receives this and loses it back to the casino, shouldn't it simple square the books.

$100 credited to player - $100 debited to casino. Player loses $100 back to casino - neither Casino or Player are + or minus $100.

From memory its a cash back without playthrough. The casino gives cashback to the player based on their wagers, irrespective of whether they win or lose and it gets subtracted from your affiliate revenue. Then the player can lose it all and return things from the affiliates perspective to 0 in a best case scenario. Or they can withdraw it which locks in the loss for you. Or they can win and you lose more revenue. So everyone that deposits and plays gets a small extra chance to play and win some more. There's no upside for the affiliate unless it encourages the player to deposit more, and I have seen no evidence either way on that. And don't forget those players who are unaware or unimpressed and don't bother coming back and playing with the cashback. In that case it just sits in their account reducing your revenue.

No doubt its a great system from a player's perspective though. People who play regularly should be all over it.

Thanks for the synopsis, Vlad :)

Agreed for regular players it's a sweet deal.
I'd even give it a go but tend to play more Video Poker these days. Quickfire/Flash VP is the pits because it doesn't operate like the MGS download versions.
