For a while now, I've been considering the pros and cons of having embedded games in my slots reviews. In a way it might be bit of a distraction, but at the same time all affiliate programs are saying that it's the way to go. What do you guys think?

Here is an example with an embedded slot in the review:

...and here is an example of "pure" slot review without any flash game:

Which one would you go for?

Nothing is more annoying the sound that auto plays when you visit a site or page so I wouldn't recommend that.

Ideas.
a) Create a div with a play icon that change the elements innerhtml on click. It would kind of look like a youtube embeded video.
b) I see you're using wordpress. Create a Slot post type or a category template for the slot posts. That would allow you to use a different styling on posts/pages with a certain category or other criteria and embed the slot on its own page, for example you could remove the sidebars to make the embeded slot window bigger, and link to and from the embeded slot page to the review page.

Yeah, I see what you mean, letting the visitor chose if he wants to start the slot or not. Might be worth thinking about.

Would be cool to have a "Try game" button, I see Slotzilla do this.

Best of both worlds, but some games have awesome intro's (Netent). And considering the fact the audience lean towards the visual side I'd like them to auto-play.

Planned to do this as well, but had some doubts in terms of seo since it will create basically an empty of content page for each game. Haven't figured out how to solve it...
