The German state of Brandenburg will update its Casino Act of 2007 and clarify that online casino games will be included.
The update of the regulations will be in line with the new state treaty on gambling, the GlüNeuRStv.
For the GlüNeuRStv to come into force it must be ratified by 13 of Germany’s 16 federal states. The updated regulations have been presented to the European Commission, and are now subject to a standstill period.
