I'd like to introduce everyone to our newest service - ThePOGG Audit.

If you're a casino operator and looking to give your properties the best chance of receive positive placement with your reviews, this is the service for you.

When you agree to an Audit, you will receive a 15-25 page report compiled by our reviewing team addressing every aspect of your customer facing service. This will highlight all the areas that are likely to present barriers to receiving a positive review alongside dozens of smaller factors that have the potential to generate player complaints or result in a poor user experience.

Other benefits include (for those operators that address the issues highlighted in the Audit Report):

  • Use of 'ThePOGG Audited' seal.
  • An increase in starting Trustworthiness stat from 6 to 7, reducing the length of time required to reach our 'Recommended' list from 12 months to 6 months.
  • An increase in maximum Trustworthiness stat for non-Deposit Guarantee sealed properties from 8 to 9.

This service is intended to allow you to get the feedback and perspective to allow you to address any issues before they are publicly highlighted in a review and to ensure that operators that have a genuine interest in offering the best possible service receive the best placement.

You can read the documentation we've compiled on the Auditing service here.

You can see a full example of an Audit report here.

If anyone has further questions regarding this service or would like to request an Audit, you can PM me here or email us at audit@thepogg.com.

Testimonial

Trada Casino - "The level of detail in ThePOGG’s Audit Report is second to none. I knew from the beginning that this would be an extremely useful service, but I can happily say it has surpassed my expectations.

A pair of fresh eyes was exactly what we needed. The audit reported on items such as brand identity, player experience and site speed, while delving into individual terms, FAQ’s and how we present information to customers.

Following receipt of this report, we made over twenty changes to TradaCasino.com. The most valuable learning from the audit was in relation to how we present information, the feedback helped us to optimise our FAQ’s section, present more relevant information in more accessible places and improve the user journey in general. I would highly recommend this service to other operators in the industry. "

Well I wish you ALL the best with this Duncan :)

Frankly it's a long overdue service!

I'm always very anal about the casinos I recommend as an affiliate. I want to know my players are being taken care of, just as much as I, as an affiliate, need to know my business is working with reputable and trustworthy programs.

Edit:
Just perused the Auditing example. Man that's well done.
This takes the work out of me having to do it, albeit not anywhere near as concise or in depth as your Audit.

Cheers

Dave

That's an excellent service! Great work. I can see how this would benefit new casino especially since many of them are missing elements from the beginning.

Hey Dave,

Thanks and much appreciated, but honestly I can't take credit for this one. A few months ago I brought someone else in to help with the site and gave them the specific focus of the reviews section. My hope was that they'd be able to maintain the levels I'd set. Instead they've significantly improved on those levels and are picking up on far more than I was catching previously. Best decision I ever made.

This service is a direct result of getting the reviews section back on track. Essentially I've become a bit frustrated with operators requesting a review, getting a review and being unhappy with what it says. Many operators seem to feel that we should come back and consult with them before we publish anything that could be construed as negative, but if we were to do that we'd spend all of our time telling operators how to do the job they should already be doing and other services that are to my mind far more important (like the complaints, terms monitoring and the 2 new sites we're due to launch) wouldn't get the time they deserve.

This service allows the operators that actually really want the feedback to get that feedback before anything is published.

While the service is unquestionably targeted at new operators, you'd be surprised at the number of established operators that are making pretty basic mistakes that would be caught by this. Things like out of date promotions still be referenced long after they've been retired, telling players to look in sections that simply don't exist and the FAQs providing insufficient or often flat out wrong information. These are all the type of errors that happen because of oversights when changing something and forgetting about the other areas of the site that information may be referenced on. They happen to everyone, but they can cause significant problems if a player catches them before the operator does.

Your too humble.
If ThePOGG wasn't around or you didn't bring this person on board, well it wouldn't have happened. In my mind your deserve to share the credit :)

As this is a paid for service I'm not looking to give negative publicity. I think that'd be a little unfair. As such we're going to give the operator the choice regarding whether or not the report gets published. However, those that choose not to allow the publication of the report will not qualify for any of the benefits listed in the first post, so no seal, no ratings boosts. That allows operators who take on board the feedback to publish the report showing all the positive action they've taken and gain some significant benefits for doing so and those that choose to disregard the feedback to walk away without having a big song and dance made about their choice (it could be as simple as disagreeing with a criticism).

Personally I'm pretty confident that most operators will want to publish the report so I'd expect you to be able to look through a good few more of the reports as time passes. If Trada Casino's response is anything to go by, they were more than happy to have their Audit Report published.

We are also retaining the right to reference the report in the instance that a player complaint comes in that is a direct result of a factor that we highlighted within an unpublished Audit Report.
