Seems that after some years i got the kick in the head. Affiliate lounge is stealing all my players. I have at least 303 migrated from another program and depositing every month for some months now. Another bs use of the 7.9 clause, a poor excuse for a pure steal.

"Dear Partner,

We are writing to notify you that your account has been inactive for the past 6 months (has not generated a minimum level of activity / new depositing players).

Under rule 7.9 of our terms and conditions the Company reserves the right to set limits for a minimum level of activity on Affiliate’s accounts and to terminate any agreement not reaching the limit.

Consequently our Affiliate Agreement is now being terminated. Your November and remaining unpaid commission will be paid out in early December 2014 and your account will be permanently shut down after this process. You will not be eligible to earn or receive Commissions after the effective termination date."

Were the player quota's in the T&C's when you first opened this affiliate account? When did you signup?

Just checked the wayback machine (December 2008):
web.archive.org/web/20081220155446/http://www.affiliatelounge.com/Terms-of-use/

6.4. AL reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Referral Company does not actively promote the Participating Sites. Not actively promoting the Participating Sites shall be deemed a material breach of this Agreement. It is up to AL, in its sole discretion, to determine whether the Participating Sites are actively promoted by the Referral Company.

As far as I'm aware AL opened sometime in 2008. Looks like this term has been in there from day one. Albeit it's changed to a minimum player quota now.

Contact you affiliate manager as this email is again a mistake from them. I was shocked when I again months ago received same kind of email.

They found out because of all that migrating thing some account made it look like there was no activity. So what you need is to have all your different logins (accounts) set into only one account and that will solve the problem getting those warnings. Best contact to solve this straight away is > Alison Brincat (skype - alison.brincat2) also in email daniela.balzan@betssongroup.com

This was response when I complained back in April >

You received that email in error, I have removed you from the list so you will not receive any further emails.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Got a very similar email today stating I have until march 2015 to pick things up. So hmm, push more to get dropped, don't think so.

I had the same thing back in February - turned out it was flagged from the migrated in accounts (Nordic & Maxino) and NOT my main AL account.
It was sorted out in the same way - business as usual now.

A wise move imho. Any program who has quota's or uses terms to force affiliates to continue to promote their casino(s), are verging on rogue. Things change and no affiliate can predict if their players will continue to signup at any casino they promote. Not withstanding players already sent, who, continue to make monthly deposits and revenue for the casino(s). These FU clauses stink and are IMHO about as dodgy and unethical as you can get.

The email i got.

Dear Partner,

It came to our attention that your account has not been generating much activity for the past 6 months (has not generated a minimum level of activity / new depositing players).

This is a gentle reminder that under our terms and conditions the Company reserves the right to set limits for a minimum level of activity on Affiliate’s accounts and to terminate any agreement not reaching the limit.

We have looked at your account and your dedicated Affiliate Manager has decided not to terminate our agreement but to closely monitor your account activity for the next 3 months and give the opportunity to start promoting us actively on your website(s). We are hoping to see an increase in your account activity during this monitoring period or your account will be indeed terminated after the review period (March 2015).

The edit: whoops

It's difficult, because players like their casinos and their casinos are indeed the best out there imo, but stuff like this is not good.

Again this is just email their system sends out. OR at least most of them! If you contact affiliate manager then they will confirm this. I have already posted before about it and yes I would like to defend them as there is absolute nothing rogue about them in regards to closing accounts. As which accounts has been actually closed?? can we see proof from any of you guys who has had it closed? NO because there aint really any is there? :)

Only thing I can find bad about these guys are there crazy costs which they said had been lowered. From over €2000 I only earned around €85. Was told oh deposits are not gaming activity as that is what we pay from.

Drop these rogues. Any company that acts like this should not deserve to be in business. Sorry, but there are a lot better programs out there.

Kick them from your sites and make it public, this is the best and only way.

The day will come and they remember if no one will have a partnership with them.

We on our sites make it public that all can read: no recommendation

But even that will not help much because they don't need us affiliates, they are already too big in this business. (on our expense)

its kind of sick our bussiness i was looking at the programs that really pay me or have a deal that is good for me and they are so few im starting to get pissed with all this prior work going up in smoke... 300 players its still something especially in poker if they are properly activated could mean some good revenue... this guys are surely going into my trash bin...
